What is JoinMyJet?

JoinMyJet is a members-only community where you decide where and when to fly. JoinMyJet offers convenient, direct flights to communities of people travelling for events.

What type of flights do you offer?

We offer both leisure and business flights.

Create your own flight – Direct, Flexible and Convenient flights wherever and whenever you want to fly

Deals – Flights organized exclusively by JoinMyJet to events all over the world

What type of airplanes do you operate?

We do not own or operate our own airplanes. We charter airplanes for all flights that we perform. We mainly charter airplanes with aprox. 150-250 seats.

Do JoinMyJet flights have flight attendants on board?

Yes, on all flights.

What about safety?

Safety is our number one priority. We will only use operators who hold an Air Operator Certificate (AOC) issued and audited by their relevant authority and who have valid and proper insurance.

Where does JoinMyJet fly?

We are able to perform flights all over the world however our main markets are Europe, the US and ASIA.

Can I change the language on the site?

You can currently only choose English language.

What is Create your own flight?

Create your own flight is your chance to customize your own flight and fly wherever and whenever you want to fly. It gives you the ultimate flexibility.

Who can create their own flight?

All members can create their own flight.

How do I create my own flight?

You create your own flight by filling out the inquiry template.

Where and when can I fly?

Your flight can depart and arrive at any airport in the world at any given date and time.

Can I create a multi-city flight?

Yes, please send us a message on Social Media, Messenger, WhatsApp or Email booking@joinmyjet.com in order to do so.

What happens when I have created my own flight?

After you have created your own flight you will receive confirmation that we have received your request. We will review your request and get back to you within 5 days with a Travel Plan including schedule and price.

If we assess there is little or no demand for the flight we will let you know.

How do I fill up the airplane?

All flights are being marketed via the social media networks. Both you and we will post, share and like the flight in order to spread the word and fill up the airplane as soon as possible.

JoinMyJet will create modern and efficient ads and content marketing in order to help fill up the airplane. All you have to do is to spread the word.

How much time do we have to fill up the airplane?

We will normally run a flight campaign lasting 7 days and within this period the flight has to be fully booked or confirmed by us.

When I create my own flight, is my flight guaranteed?

The flight is not guaranteed until the flight has been fully booked or JoinMyJet confirm the flight. Flights are subject to demand and aircraft availability.

When I create my own flight, is the price guaranteed?

Yes, the price you receive from us is guaranteed and will not change.

How much does it cost?

The price depends on the length of the flight, size of the aircraft, aircraft availability and so on. The price you receive from us is always per-seat including FREE snacks, drinks and baggage and landing, handling and passenger fees. It´s all included.

How do I book a flight?

Every flight has its own page with information regarding that particular flight. We call it a Flight Page. There you will find an option called BOOK that will take you through some easy and simple steps to complete your booking.

What happens after I have booked a flight?

After you have booked a flight you will receive a pre-booking confirmation. We will not withdraw any money before the flight has been fully booked. When the flight has been fully booked and your payment has been received you will be sent a booking confirmation and booking details.

How can I pay for the flight?

We accept Visa, Mastercard and American Express.

All funds must be received and cleared before we will charter an aircraft on behalf of our members.

Can I book seats for my friends and family?

Yes, you can book seats for family members. In order to do so please contact us on Social Media, Messenger, WhatsApp or Email booking@joinmyjet.com

You can invite your friends to join you on a flight using the Invite Friends button on the Flight Page.

What do I receive if I invite a friend to join a flight?

For every friend who books a seat on the flight you will get a 5% discount. The more friends you invite, the bigger your discount will be. If you invite enough friends, your seat will be free.

Can I change my ticket?

Unfortunately not. All JoinMyJet flights cannot be changed.

Can I cancel my booking?

Of course, but we hope to see you on board soon. If you have to cancel your booking you can contact us on Social Media, Messenger, WhatsApp or Email booking@joinmyjet.com

Will I get a refund if I cancel my booking?

Unfortunately not. All JoinMyJet flights are non-refundable.

Can I change the name on my booking?

Yes, passenger details can be changed FREE of charge up until 7 days before departure. Please do so by contacting us on Social Media, Messenger, WhatsApp or Email booking@joinmyjet.com

MEMBERSHIP

Do I have to be a member in order to fly with JoinMyJet?

Yes, you have to be a member in order to fly with us. But don´t worry, its FREE and easy to join.

What are the requirements to fly with JoinMyJet?

We ask everyone who uses JoinMyJet to become a member plus:

  • Full name (as it appear in your passport)
  • Gender
  • Date of birth
  • Email
  • Phone number
  • Passport details
  • Payment information
  • Agreement to our Terms & Conditions
Is my information secure?

Yes, the information you provide to JoinMyJet is governed by our Privacy Policy and only a small number of authorized JoinMyJet employees are allowed access to your information for troubleshooting or internal purposes.

How do I become a member?

JoinMyJet membership is FREE and its easy to join. On www.joinmyjet.com click JOIN and you can join with your Facebook, LinkedIn, Google+, Twitter or Email. After you join, be sure to complete your profile before booking a flight.

How do I edit my profile?

To edit your profile 

  1. Go to MY ACCOUNT
  2. Click PROFILE

You can edit information that appears in your profile such as name, email, phone number etc. Click SAVE CHANGES at the bottom of the page to save your changes.

How do I cancel my account?

To cancel your account please contact us on Social Media, Messenger, WhatsApp or Email info@joinmyjet.com and we will cancel your account for you.

When you cancel your account, any bookings you have made will automatically be cancelled without a refund.

How do I reset my password?

If you have forgotten your password or are having trouble signing in to your account visit www.joinmyjet.com/my-account/lost-password. Enter the Email you use for JoinMyJet and you will be emailed a link to reset your password.

How do I change my password?

If you know your current password but you want to change it

  1. Go to MY ACCOUNT
  2. Click PROFILE
  3. Fill out the fields in CHANGE PASSWORD
  4. Click SAVE CHANGES

What are the JoinMyJet membership benefits?

JoinMyJet members will be part of a unique community of people with the same passion for travelling and digitalization. Members will benefit from customized flights all over the world at a price that include FREE snacks, drinks and baggage allowance and much more.

Who can use my membership?

Your membership is personal and for you only. However you can invite all your friends and family to become members.

When does my membership start?

Your membership starts immediately after you have joined and you are now ready for your first flight.

When does my membership expire?

Your membership never expires.

What are Deals?

Deals are flights organized exclusively by JoinMyJet to events all over the world.

Who can book a seat on a Deals flight?

All members can book a seat on a Deals flight.

Can I set my own departure time?

Deals already have set departure and arrival airports and departure times.

Is the flight guaranteed?

The flight is not guaranteed until the flight has been fully booked or JoinMyJet confirm the flight.

Is the price guaranteed?

Yes, the price is guaranteed and will not change.

How long do Deals last?

What is JoinMyJetbusiness?

JoinMyJetbusiness is a part of our brand and product where it is possible for you to Create your own flight or book Deals to your next event, conference, fair, product launch etc. We make it flexible, convenient and easy to travel for work.

Who can book a flight using JoinMyJetbusiness?

A company or organization can become a JoinMyJetbusiness member as well as the employees and all can book flights on JoinMyJet.

How do I become a member using my company?

If you manage your company´s travel arrangements join with your company by visiting www.joinmyjet.com/business and JOIN.

What type of flights can I book using my business account?

You can Create your own flight and book both leisure and business Deals using your business account.

How can I add a business address to my profile?

To add a business address to you profile 

  1. Go to MY ACCOUNT
  2. Click PROFILE
  3. Fill out the fields in BILLING DETAILS
  4. Click SAVE CHANGES
Can I book a flight for a group of employees?

Yes, if the flight solely is for your company or organization. Your company or organization shall first become a JoinMyJetbusiness member. Then Create your own flight or contact us on Social Media, Messenger, WhatsApp or Email booking@joinmyjet.com and we will do our best to arrange the flight for you.

If a group of employees want to join an already existing flight or Deal each employee has to become a JoinMyJet member in order to book a seat on the flight.

Can I invite employees to become members?

Yes. Employees who accept your invitation by verifying their work email will become members.

BEFORE THE FLIGHT

Shall I bring my passport and visa?

Every country has its own rules for visitors of various nationalities. Always remember to read passport and visa rules for the country to which you are flying.
Passport details shall be provided when you book a flight with us. If you have stored your passport details in your "Profile" your details will automatically be provided before the flight.

Do I need vaccinations?

When you are traveling you may be at risk of being affected by all sorts of diseases. Many infectious diseases can easily be prevented if you get vaccinated or take the right precautionary measures. Find out as early as possible how you can prepare yourself in the best possible way when you travel abroad.

Can I reserve a seat?

We use assigned seating on all our flights. When you arrive at the check-in counter at the airport you will be assigned a seat.

Where in the plane is my seat?

We assign seats on a first come first serve basis. We will seat our passengers from the front towards the back of the airplane.

Can I sit next to my friends?

We will do our best to make sure you sit next to your friends.

Can I get a seat with more legroom?

Most of our flights are operated by airplanes with a one-class seating configuration. If you want to have more legroom you can try and ask for the emergency exit seats at the check-in counter but notice that they are popular and become occupied quickly.

Can I change my seat?

When you check-in at the airport you will be assigned a seat. If there are empty seats on board the airplane you can ask the flight attendant if it is possible to change your seat but notice that we can´t guarantee that it is possible.

What is Flight Details?

You will receive the Flight Details via Messenger or Email at least 2 days before your departure. The Flight Details will include all necessary information regarding your flight such as departure terminal, operator, check-in times, baggage allowance etc.

How do I receive information and updates about my flight?

We will let you know as soon as possible via Social Media, Messenger, WhatsApp or Email if we have additional information about your flight or if your flight is delayed or cancelled.

AT THE AIRPORT

When do I need to be at the Airport?

This will vary from flight to flight and airport to airport. In the Flight Details that we send you no later than 2 days before departure you will find all necessary information regarding your flight. Please make sure you allow enough time at the airport. We don´t want you to miss your flight!

Where will I check-In?

You will check-in at the airport where you will receive personal service from the airport staff. For check-in details and deadlines please refer to the Flight Details as these may vary from flight to flight due to operator and airport requirements.

Can I check-in via SMS, online or at self-service kiosks?

No. You will have to check-in at the check-in counter at the airport.

Where do I get my boarding pass?

You will get your boarding pass at the check-in counter at the airport.

How much checked baggage can I bring?

You can bring 1 x checked bag FREE of charge. The weight limit of your bag vary from flight to flight. See the Flight Details for further information. For safety reasons regulations restrict what you may have in your checked baggage.

Can I bring more than 1 checked bag?

If you want to bring more than 1 checked bag contact us on Social Media, Messenger, WhatsApp or Email baggage@joinmyjet.com and we will do our best to arrange it for you. Additional charges may apply.

How much excess checked baggage can I bring?

That depends on the aircraft type and the operator. Contact us on Social Media, Messenger, WhatsApp or Email baggage@joinmyjet.com and we will do our best to arrange it for you. Additional charges may apply.

Can I lock my checked bag?

Yes, you can lock your checked bag.

Will my baggage be checked in to my destination?

Yes, your baggage will be checked in to your destination and since we are only operating direct flights the chance of it getting lost at the airport is less than if you had to do a stopover with a scheduled airline.

Can I bring my skis?

Yes, a set of snow or water skis are permitted and counts as 1 piece of checked baggage. You can also bring your bootbag.

Can I bring my sports equipment?

Yes, if you want to bring your sports equipment you can contact us on Social Media, Messenger, WhatsApp or Email baggage@joinmyjet.com and we will do our best to arrange it for you.

Can I bring my golf equipment?

Yes, a golf bag is permitted and counts as 1 piece of checked baggage.

Can I bring my musical instrument?

Yes, a small instrument can be your cabin baggage and a large instrument can be taken as checked baggage. You can contact us on Social Media, Messenger, WhatsApp or Email baggage@joinmyjet.com and we will do our best to arrange it for you.

Can I bring fragile items?

Yes, if you want to bring fragile items you can contact us on Social Media, Messenger, WhatsApp or Email baggage@joinmyjet.com and we will do our best to arrange it for you.

Can I bring other special baggage?

If you want to bring special baggage like a baby stroller, baby buggy, child car seat, bicycle, diving equipment, fishing gear, wheelchairs, surfboard, kiteboard, windsurfing equipment etc. contact us on Social Media, Messenger, WhatsApp or Email baggage@joinmyjet.com and we will do our best to arrange it for you. Additional charges may apply.

What is prohibited items?

The safety of all our passengers is our main concern. According to international regulations there are a few things that is prohibited items on board an aircraft. Please refer to these regulation before you pack your bag.

Can I use the fast track security line?

Fast track is normally not included in our ticket price. However for some flights it might be possible for us to get you access to the fast track line. Can I use airport lounges?

Airport lounges is normally not included in our ticket price. However for some flights it might be possible for us to get you access to airport lounges. When do I have to be at the gate?

DURING THE FLIGHT

How much cabin baggage can I bring?

You can bring 1 x cabin bag FREE of charge. For dimensions and weight limits see the Flight Details for further information. For safety reasons regulations restrict what you may have in your cabin baggage.

Can I bring my laptop/tablet as cabin baggage?

Yes, you can bring your laptop/tablet as cabin baggage and feel free to use it during the flight. Just remember to turn it off and put it away during takeoff and landing. Ask your flight attendant if you have any questions.

Can I use electronic devices on board?

Yes, you can use your laptop/tablet, cell phone, MP3 players and electronic games during the flight. Just remember to turn it off and put it away during takeoff and landing. Cell phones must be in flight mode. Ask your flight attendant if you have any questions.

Can I bring duty-free and airport purchases on board?

Yes, and any duty-free or airport purchases need to fit into your cabin baggage.

Will you serve food and drinks on board?

Yes, we serve FREE snacks and drinks during the flight.

Can I fly if Im pregnant?

Yes, but contact us on Social Media, Messenger, WhatsApp or Email assistance@joinmyjet.com before you book a flight if you plan to fly while you are pregnant since operator regulations may vary. We advise you to check your coverage with your travel insurance provider.

Can I fly with an infant? (0-23 months)?

Yes, you can fly with an infant FREE of charge who sits in your lap during the flight and fasten with an infant/extension belt. Contact us on Social Media, Messenger, WhatsApp or Email assistance@joinmyjet.com before you book a flight since operator regulations may vary.

Can a child fly with JoinMyJet? (2-11 years old)?

Yes, a child can fly with another person who is at least 18 years old. A child can also fly as an unaccompanied minor. Contact us on Social Media, Messenger, WhatsApp or Email assistance@joinmyjet.com and we will do our best to arrange it for you.

Do you offer child discounts?

Yes, infants can fly FREE of charge who sits in your lap during the flight and fasten with an infant/extension belt.

Children aged 2-11 who travel with a person over 18, receive 25% discount.

Can I bring my pet on the flight?

Unfortunately not. It is not possible to bring a pet on our flights.

Can I bring firearms?

Firearms are permitted on most airplanes but we do require prior notification of these beforehand. Firearms licences must be carried along with any guns, ammunition or compressed gas. Additional permits and customs notifications may be required before departure. Contact us on Social Media, Messenger, WhatsApp or Email assistance@joinmyjet.com before you book a flight if you plan on traveling with firearms.

Can I access the aircraft in a wheelchair?

All aircraft are wheelchair accessible. Larger jets often have AmbuLift compatibility. Contact us on Social Media, Messenger, WhatsApp or email assistance@joinmyjet.com before you book a flight for a tailored solution to your accessibility requirements.

AFTER THE FLIGHT

What if my baggage is delayed, lost or damaged?

First of all we want to apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you. If your baggage has been delayed, lost or damaged despite our care and attention we will do our best to help you. Please be advised that it is the operators responsibility and you should contact the operator in order to retrieve your bag or receive compensation. For any questions please feel free to contact us on Social Media, Messenger, WhatsApp or Email baggage@joinmyjet.com.

I forgot something on board or at the airport?

Contact us on Social Media, Messenger, WhatsApp or Email baggage@joinmyjet.com if you by mistake forgot something on board the aircraft or at the airport and we will do our best to retrieve your property.
